How it works
When the resource of the filter media is exhausted, the filter switches to regeneration mode on its own.
Regeneration occurs in 5 stages:
- Rinsing with a reverse water flow. This washes away particles of mechanical contamination from the filter material.
- A salt solution is fed from the tank into the filter casing, passes through the material layer and leaches out hardness salts and organic matter. The contaminants, along with the remaining solution, are discharged into the sewerage system.
- Short backwash loosens the filter media once again and washes away any residual salt solution.
- Direct water rinsing is used to ensure that the layers of material are arranged in the required order.
- Filling the salt tank with water to dissolve the tableted salt and prepare the solution for the next regeneration.
